Artistically designed with unique sculptures, Javier's Crystal Cove provides guests with ocean views in a cozy, contemporary atmosphere to enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine. It opened its doors in 2008 on Newport Beach and is conveniently close to the Crystal Cove Shopping Center. This restaurant offers guests an upscale dining experience with such entrees as the Maine lobster enchilada topped with Monterey jack cheese and grilled chicken breasts braised in chipotle sauce. Javier's Crystal Cove serves a variety of fresh seafood dishes, appetizers and delicious desserts. It has a full bar that features numerous tequilas, cocktails, beers and wine.     I ordered the tomahawk pork chop, noticed the portions have gotten smaller also I didn’t get the usual sauce I usually get with the pork chop. Everything was good though.

    Service, food , ambiance was outstanding. I requested a bourbon / whiskey menu but i never received it. But glad they did not bring it. I shouldn’t be drinking. Also, i had to remind waitress that i was there on a special occasion after adding a note on Open table. Seems like the information was not relayed. Over all it was a good experience.

    Always have the best time at Javier’s and have been coming here for years. Avoid Joaquin’s section if possible, he is very unpleasant and does not provide good customer service unfortunately but everyone else is always superb!

    I was favorably impressed. I visited on New Year's Eve and they had regular prices and a regular menu (unlike many other restaurants). The service was excellent. The food was great. The restaurant was a well-oiled machine. Gracias to Javier.

    Way overpriced for the quality. We all noticed our drinks tasted different that what we are accustomed to, and woke up with dull headaches and nausea which leads us to believe our specified premium liquor was substituted with inferior quality.
