   It was my son’s 20th birthday and his first time at the flagship location. He had been wanting to go there since it opened but we have a hard time getting a reservation wheneverhe is home from college. I finally was able to book a table for his birthday while he was still home on Christmas break. We wanted it to be special. We asked for the beat table and went very earl at 4:45pm since that is what I could get for four of us months in advance!. We got seated in a corner in another room instead of the main dining room that we were hoping for, so we requested to move. They did accommodate us. I guess I should have been more specific when I made the reservation. They had Happy 20th Birthday printed at the top of the menus which was a nice touch. The food was good except there were a few issues. We asked for bernaise sauce and it was not brought with the steak. We did not see anyone for a while to tell so I just ate it without. We were told that there was a lobster tail that could be added to any order on special. I ordered it and it was literally four bites of lobster and no butter was provided. We had several items that we could not finish. We asked for them to be boxed up and for the steak and seafood to be boxed separately. The next day when we went to eat things, the steak and seafood were mixed together! We also asked for my daughter’s sandwich and fruit to be boxed up and they were boxed together so the bun was soaked with fruit juice from the berries and had to be discarded. I’m just not used to mistakes there, so these aren’t big deals, but when you are paying for an exceptional night out and looking forward to leftovers too, it was a bit disappointing. Especially since we got there at 445p. Maybe we will stick to The Precinct and Carlo & Johnny’s instead.

   Wonderful evening with my daughter and granddaughter. David on the piano was AMAZING! Angelica was our waitress and she did an outstanding job!!

   Disappointed. Service was great but sporadic. Possibly understaffed that night as there were long periods of wait times for waiter to come by. We tried meals other than steak as we had steak already that Week and the porkchop was over cooked and fish was drowning in the le blanc sauce so much you couldn't differentiate what type of fish was on the plate.

   This is the best restaurant experience I’ve had. Everything was perfect! Joseph was the perfect server. The drinks and food were delicious. My steak was so tender and tasty. Perfection!

    My wife and I have dined at Jeff Ruby’s a few times over the years. One of the finest establishments that I have ever been in. From the moment you walk in the door you will be amazed at the ambience. When it is time to eat you will have the best steak of your life. Every side dish is amazing (especially those tater tots) and you can’t forget a piece of butter pie! Special shout out to Andrew and Lupe who worked hand in hand to make sure our experience was amazing as usual. See you again soon!!!
