   Ka'ana Kitchen is amazing! We ordered the Watermelon Salad and Grilled Octopus Salad for starters Both were so fresh and clean tasting. Entrees we got were the Chicken and Mochi Waffle (which was phenomenal!), Risotto with Snow Crab, and Grilled Fresh Catch. All were delightful and rightfully portioned. Our server David was so attentive and friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant! Don't skip on desserts! We got the Popcorn Cheesecake and it was so good! We will definitely be back if give a chance to come back.

   We spent an enchanted evening on the lovely veranda overlooking pools, sea, and sunset. Our food was exquisite and the service impeccable. We chose two starters and an entree based on our servers’s suggestions which left room to share dessert. We enjoyed every bite of the watermelon salad, the nuanced ahi tataki, and the melt-in-your-mouth scallops. A coconut sundae with pieces of chocolate coated cake and toasted macadamia nuts was the perfect finish. We only had a glass of wine so can’t attest to the wine list. Fine dining prices but worth it. All in all a delightful experience.

   Our server David was very knowledgeable about the menu and suggested great plates for us. This is a foodie paradise in paradise! Amazing flavors!

   Great meal. Wonderful and creative preparation. Every dish was excellent. The service was good and reasonably attentive. My biggest surprise was that the restaurant advertised “family style” and sharing, but the menu was not designed for it. An appetizer could accommodate one or two people and an entree was for one. Kind of standard and it missed my expectations.

   The mahi mahi was so salted I could feel my body bloat. The Caesar salad had so much dressing and mustard seeds the lettuce wilted and the mustard seed was too overpowering. If it was balanced the taste combo could have been interesting. Find another place. Whomever the chef is here he clearly missed.

   From the captivating décor to the impeccable service and the exquisite culinary delights, our experience at the Ka'ana Christmas Dinner Buffet was nothing short of extraordinary. A heartfelt thank you to Chef for personally introducing my family to the delightful vegetarian options, and to our server, John Wise, who elevated the evening with his exceptional attentiveness and expertise as the sommelier. This restaurant is, without a doubt, a true gem on Maui. We eagerly look forward to our next visit to indulge in the island’s finest dining experience!

   The Xmas dinner buffet was NOT worth 200$ per person. While the ambiance and service were decent, the food simply didn’t meet expectations for a luxury establishment like the Andaz. I wouldn’t recommend it unless they significantly improve the quality of the menu. Definitely not worth the price.

    We attended the Christmas Buffet Dinner at Ka'ana Kitchen at the Andaz Maui. For the price of $205/person I would have expected a 5 star meal and excellent service. My husband and I received a reasonable self-service meal with an 18% gratuity added to the bill, but the setting was very casual and so was much of the food. The food offered did not match the price level. The star of of the buffet was the carvery bord with ribeye steak which was dry, overcooked and chewy. A big disappointment on a very special day for us. We'll be going back to Honu and Mama's Fish House in the future for special occasions.
