   This restaurant has consistently gotten better over the years. We were seated on time, had a very pleasant waitress and had an outstanding meal for a reasonable price. Doesn't get any better than that. And the location is right in the heart of Heavenly Village. Will come here on every visit to South Shore.

   My sushi roll was excellent. My entree, the mixed seafood grill, was good quality but very bland. My husband got a Caesar salad which was good. He ordered a medium rare filet and was brought a ribeye. He only likes filet, so we politely sent it back, no big deal, things happen. The server apologized, we waited for his replacement meal, in good spirits. His filet arrived fully raw with only seared edges. We didn’t want to send it back again, so we asked for the check and a box. We went home and cooked his raw steak, at which point it was quite decent, but also pretty bland. Restaurant comped our drinks without us asking or complaining (a margarita which I liked and drank, and an Irish coffee which neither my husband nor I could drink because it tasted awful, we did not mention it to our server) and brought a dessert to go. Overall, the service was good, ambiance was nice, but I wouldn’t return for the food quality vs price. I really liked the sushi though.

   The atmosphere was exactly what you want for a nice dinner date. Great selection of drinks. The server was a pro. The food was cooked perfectly. If I had to complain, the wings didn’t have enough sauce on them.

   It’s a bit pricy, but the food is excellent, especially given its tourist centric location. We had the Kalani roll, mushroom flatbread, house salad, sea bass, mixed seafood grill, shrimp scampi, and guava cheese cake. The mixed seafood grill is probably my favorite. Everything was very well prepared and delicious, except for the cheese cake, which was good but nothing special. Service was prompt and enthusiastic, but may be a little nervous. Overall, it was a very good experience, and we would come again.

    Was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was!! Usually the places in Tahoe are more about their convenient location... but will say the food here was really great! You certainly pay 'full price' ...but I definitely don't feel its overpriced for the quality you are getting!! ...and you are in a great convenient location as a bonus! We had a few of the rolls (which all were great!!) and different fish dishes (all very good and cooked correctly!!). Definitely coming back the next time we are skiing!!
