Kali is a small neighborhood restaurant tucked in between Hollywood and Larchmont village. Created by lifelong friends/co-workers chef Kevin Meehan and Drew Langley, the two have had always dreamed about creating a high-end restaurant without pretension. Stripping away all facades of what fine dining should be, Kali focuses strictly on the ingredient, technique, and service creating a casual environment everyone can enjoy.

One of favorite timeless restaurants in Los Angeles. Each time we visit, the menu has updates and they never disappoint! This time: a delicious burgundy from a great wine list, the autumn tortoloni were exquisite and unique as was the black cod (prepared differently that we’ve ever experienced), and the dry aged duck was beautifully plated with a wonderful potato side. Their Meringue Gelato might still be the best dessert in LA. And excellent, kind service. Always a treat to dine here!

Our waitress, Jessica, elevated the experience, describing each dish with such passion and detail, it was as if she had prepared them herself. The oysters were especially memorable—fresh, perfectly balanced, and bursting with flavor. Every dish was thoughtfully crafted, showcasing the quality and innovation Kali is known for. If you’re in LA and looking for an unforgettable meal, Kali is a must-visit.

Definitely the best dining experience in LA. Food and service were first class. The only things that I am not satisfied with is how come this restaurant is only one Michelin star? Should be at least 2 or above!

Great experience and service from the moment doors opened. Food is very good, and the restaurant is beautiful. Normal noise level as there is somewhat of an open kitchen. Overall, it is a great restaurant everyone must try
