Went during lunch hours, lively environment and delicious food. We had the Poke bowl and braised beef sukiyaki bowls. Chelsea was great, friendly and professional. Would go again.

Jamie's service was FABULOUS, as always!! Food was delicious. Loud despite private booth but it is expected when you have such a gem downtown. Highly recommend!!

Ahmad our server was very amazing! Had the best recommendations and it is a must visit for Japanese food! Simply outstanding! A lot of vegetarian options on the menu as well and the kitchen is ready to customize the food according to your preferences which is rare to find these days

KI has been a go-to for years and fully aware it’s not hip new ans exciting to be really busy but the scarcity may have played a role in it being quiet cool to dine. Mostly the server while friendly was VERY difficult to understand and I would hope not to have them again. Food outstanding of course ans some warm sake definitely helped the chilly

Very disappointed with our service this evening. We had reservations for 5:30pm we arrived at 5pm and were seated right away. We advised our server we had a show to attend and had to leave by 6:45pm. I also called the restaurant 2 days before and she made notes on my reservation. When we arrived the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. The appetizers were served quickly but after that we waited for an 1 1/2hr and still no mains. We told the server to cancel the main orders bc we had to leave it was 7:15pm. When leaving the restaurant I noticed it wasn’t that busy and cant understand why we were treated that way. Yes, they didn’t charge us for a round of drinks but we left hungry with an expensive bill. Will not be returning. Very unprofessional!!

Our second time coming here. Our first experience was amazing which is why we came back. Although the food is incredible, the service was not great at all. We waited over an hour for our food, while others came after us and had their food served right away. After 40 minutes our server came to ask if we would like to order anything. We think she forgot to punch in our order since we had already given her our order 40 minutes ago. Then they served us someone else’s appetizer which we gave back. We mentioned that we had a show to catch and need to be out by 7pm. The manager did come to see us and apologized for the inconvenience. We got our food 1.5 hours later and gulped it in record time to leave right away. The steak was was overcooked and they forgot one of our appetizers. I do have to mentioned that they did redeem themselves by not charging us for the food only the drinks. However I’m so disappointed with the overall experience.

I rated kitchen service low because we waited over 2 hours before we were told that we had to wait another 20 minutes for our main meal. We ended up having to cancel our order to make it in time for our concert. We left the restaurant still feeling hungry. Not as we planned.
