   Restaurant was full but our server and her staff provided great service. All the food was great as expected and we had a very nice 2024 dinner finale.

   The food, as always, was EXCEPTIONAL! My husband had the spiny lobster and it was FRESH and cooked PERFECTLY so that it was not dry and was VERY flavorful! I had the combo of shrimp and scallops, etc. and it was DELICIOUS! Given that this was New Year's Eve, VERY IMPRESSED how the kitchen was able to quickly deliver a LOT of food and it all seemed to be PERFECTION and not overcooked! Only ding is that the Hostess stand "function" needs to be examined more closely as there was one individual there at the Hostess stand who was a REAL GRINCH and literally, he had a SNARLY attitude to EVERY person who came in. Almost all had reservations and instead of a nice "Welcome", etc., he would IMMEDIATELY, GROWL, "I will get to you when we can!" And, when asked how long, he would get even NASTIER and say "15-20 minutes" or "20-30 minutes" and IMMEDIATELY ADD, "I am doing the BEST that I can!" - with an ATTITUDE!!! Who CARES if he is doing the best that he can, he made EVERYONE feel like they were an imposition! We were "stuck" waiting almost 45 minutes AFTER our reservation (for 2 people), because this guy mishandled our Rez, so we watched a LOT of people get snarled at by him! Thankfully, our complaint to a female senior mgr, turned things around as she immediately got us seated and apologized profusely for the wait. Our server was EXCELLENT and that mgr checked back on us a couple of times The evening was "saved" and we truly enjoy the dinner and the rest of our time there. Looking forward to returning (and hoping that the Grinch isn't put at the Hostess station again as he shouldn't be dealing with the public. (He needs to be at a research desk somewhere where he can stew in his attitude!)

   I always order the same thing Macadamia crusted halibut. It is my absolute favorite and always delicious. I took my family there and we all had an exceptional meal and time. We had a toddler with us and Kings is the only place I feel like we can take her and still have an excellent meal and time. The bread is delicious as well! LOVE LOVE LOVE Kings!
