    Terrible treatment start to finish. Ignored us when we came in to check in for our 8 o’clock reservation. Finally set us at 8:30. By 930 we still didn’t have food. Management was hostile to us. We let them know we had a child w epilepsy that needed food urgently. Finally after an hour we told the manager we would have to leave if we didn’t get our food. As we got up to leave the food arrived and the manager said “No way!” and told the server to take it back. “Just go” she said and that they would take care of the bill for the drunks and one sushi roll. We have recommended Kona to family in other states and sent gift cards in the past… never again.

   Reservation was an hour late, couldn’t get drink refills, food was not worth the price….terrible experience!! I won’t be coming back!

   Very noisy, chaotic experience. We had a 6:30 reservation and were told it’s an hour wait. Got 2 seats at bar and made the best of it. Hostess screaming out names as tables came available. Bartender was not good. I ordered a bourbon with ginger ale and light ice. I got a shot glass of bourbon, glass of Ginger ale and a separate glass of ice. Very strange ! I found food to be over priced - 6 fried dumplings were $21.

   Made a reservation a week in advance for Christmas dinner and due to the amount of walk-ins, they were telling us, the elderly couple in front of us and the group behind us (that all had a reservation)....that reservations are on hold and it would be a minimum of an hour wait.  She (I believe it was a manager at the hostess station) was snarky and dismissive. And when upset bc they really didn't care at all; and as we walked out she just smuggly wished us a happy holidays, shrugging us off. Saving grace was that by the looks of the other reviews tonight...her attitude saved us a few hundred dollars for cold, mediocre food. Lost our business for good.

   After multiple bad experiences, it’s time to officially call this place quits. Consistently terrible customer service and lackluster food. Upon arriving for our 5:45 reservation, we were told that it would be an hour wait, and we could not get drinks from the bar. The manager, instead of helping her staff, stood at the front with two others and told everyone they were understaffed today. We continued to watch 50+ to go orders come up, and we were finally seated at 7:00pm.

   The sever was great, the food not so good. I ordered a medium steak, it came out rare 2x. but the 3rd time it came out my fries were cold and not replaced, at that point I didn't care. The steak was also over-seasoned and tasted like a salt log. This was my first and last time I will visit Kona Grill. I was not impressed at all

   Our experience from beginning to end was pretty terrible. From getting dirty glassware, getting sat in a dirty booth, overcooked food that took about an hour to receive, to our salad never coming until entrees were given. This was one of the worst experiences at a restaurant that I’ve had in a long time. I will absolutely never be back.

   Truly one of the worst meals we have had and especially for the high price tag that comes along with the very poor quality food and the Waitress seemed very bothered to be working. It was all very disappointing. We ended up sending 2 meals back and still were not happy with quality. There was not alot of other people that were restaurant and I can now understand why. Very disappointing in this Christmas Eve dinner.

   Service not good for a slow as restaurant was. Food came out fast. Sushi was only thing I can recommend

    I dined at Kona Grill last night and had the prime rib—it was absolutely delicious! The drinks were also fantastic. While it’s not a budget-friendly spot, the experience was worth it. The ambience was okay, but overall, I had a good time and will return.
