This is our third time back in a month time I celebrated my birthday. My husband celebrated his birthday and then we just ended up trying the fish fry and we were very pleased. We had great service and very happy with the food.

General vibe and service were good, as usual. Ribs were very disappointing. Overdone, sitting in a warmer way too long. Au gratins, usually quite good, weren’t well done as requested and were generally soupy and disappointing.

We have been coming to L.Woods for years because we love it. But for the first time today, I tried their sangria and meatloaf special. Best meatloaf !! I have a new favorite dish.

Food was less than mediocre, Calamari was chewy and tasteless, and my son almost choked with it. $6.00 for kids lemonade half of the glass was ice ? We had two different fries , my son's fries were overcooked, and mine were over salty and soggy. Bread was warmed up in the microwave. The brisket and beef ribs were nothing special.

Birthday lunch with a friend. I had a glass of Pinot Noir, we both had onion soup and the Crispy Walleye sandwiches. Only complaint, too much cheese on soup and if there was a piece of bread on top it was not visible. Waitress was nice enough to bring a piece of cake with a candle in it. Overall, it was a nice low key birthday lunch. Have eaten here many times and will return.
