Travel down historic Market Street towards the Riverfront in Wilmington, Delaware and you will find La Fia Bistro. La Fia is an intimate dinner destination in a historic building located on the corner of 5th and Market. Chef Dwain Kalup's menu utlizes carefully sourced ingredients reflecting the seasons, local region and local farms. The menu at La Fia features small plates, pastas and creative entrees. Our cheese and charcuterie is one of a kind and not to be missed!

Due to the small size of our restaurant we allow 2 hours for guests to enjoy their dining experience. If you feel you need more time please reach out to us directly.

    Fantastic Mother’s Day brunch! 4 courses of beautifully prepared dishes for only $50pp. We were full, but not stuffed, and had enough time between meals to rest, yap, and prepare for the next dish. Although the reservation indicated a time limit on seating, we were not rushed to finish and leave. 10/10 ABSOLUTELY will be back. Note, potato and caviar dish was delicious. Biscuits were fantastic. Shrimp and grits was ok (put it’s possible I was just full, and not that interested in the plate in front of me). My aunt got fried green tomatoes (came topped with crab) and the steak and she loved every bite!

    EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!!!! Biscuits, chives cream and caviar, steak, coffee everything was soo good!! Lauren was excellent!!

    As always the octopus & the duck were fantastic. We tried the fig jam bread and found it underwhelming for the price. The Justin Paso Roble was excellent - perfectly open and chewy. The big truck draft was a tasty (sort of) local lager.

    We come to Delaware every six months for simulator training at Flight Safety. This is one of our go to restaurants. Never had a bad meal here. The service is great. It’s a very cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended.

    I have really missed lunch at La Fia since COVID. I am so glad to see they’ve opened for it again. All of our sandwiches were fantastically flavorful. Nice to see they haven’t missed step since they last offered lunch. Love that we can put them back in our regular rotation!

    The service, food and ambiance were an awesome way to set the mood for the concert we were attending after. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable and got us out in time for our show. BTW… the fix price options were delicious and a great value.

    Our server was lovely. She was super knowledgeable and attentive. Every dish we tried from shared plates to the entrees was delightful. The food is well cooked, rich, and the flavors are amazing. We can’t wait to come back to La Fia.

    We had a delicious dinner - gnocchi and radiators. Both dishes were flavorful. Gnocchi was light with lovely subtle lemon flavor. Service was very good. We enjoyed a great meal prior to seeing a show.

    Vibe, service and food were all on point. We had the savory beignets, the Little Gem salad, two entrees, drinks and dessert. Everything was delicious and the service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive.

    Amazing experience at La Fia . Amy , the bartender, made phenomenal cocktails and had great recommendations for wine. Lindsey , our server , was friendly and attentive. She checked in on our table the perfect amount to ensure we had a great mom’s night out.
