   This was our second year celebrating our anniversary at La Te Da. The food and service is excellent. A must visit when in Key West.

   We had booked to see the Randy Roberts show and had a table reservation at 7pm at the restaurant. It was really busy and so we were told we were indoors which was fine. We had a quick and friendly welcome but unfortunately it went a bit downhill from then. Drinks arrived and we gave our order and then noticed that we were sat right next to the stage where a live singer was setting up. (No-one told us this when we were seated). Appetisers arrived and were good (lobster bisque and shrimp cocktail. However mains took a long time to arrive (1 HR and 15 after we were seated), and we then had to rush without dessert to see the show. We had allowed 2 hrs in total but unfortunately it wasn't enough. The server was friendly but I think the place was just too busy and had too many people ordering the same time. Also being right next to the singer didn't add to the ambience unfortunately (even though he was good), and it killed any option of conversation. The other problem was that the green beans were way undercooked and inedible and the mashed potato on both our dishes (snapper and meatloaf) was far too salty. Unfortunately we didn't have time to complain as we had to get our check and rush off. For our 9th visit to Key West we were disappointed by this restaurant. The show was amazing though.

   My dinner was excellent, I had the 7 Oz. fillet with this amazing mushroom sauce. They served the best bread with delicious honey butter.
