   I had never been to this restaurant before. We should never have gone on Mother’s Day. It came highly recommended by 4 Italian friends. After ordering, we received our appetizer quickly. However, we saw tables that came in after us receive their salads and entrees long before we did. We waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for our salads. Then another 30 minutes for our entrees. Our server kept apologizing that the kitchen was backed up. That didn’t explain why other tables had been served before us. We were charged for 2 drinks we were served but did not order. Two entrees had to be sent back because they were cold. We were given 2 slices of cheese cake ask a panna cotta as recompense. This was the worst Mother’s Day dinner we’ve had. I felt terrible that I had chosen this restaurant. I had such high expectations. The food is actually quite good, but the experience was horrible.

   First time here .Allan was great server. My paste good . My wife ordered chicken vesuvio which was made with chicken filet not with chicken on the bone as has been served in all the good Italian restaurants that we have eaten so somewhat disappointing. The grilled calamari was also a disappointment. Would we return ? Yes but certainly would change the items ordered.I liked the neighborhood feel and vibe

   The food here is of high quality, but the prices are very reasonable for what you get. Service was excellent.

   Easter brunch was a joke, cafeteria type food, all of it cold , no servers to take used dishes -had to move them ourselves . Mimosas from a plastic container, maybe worth 35 bucks at most but 55? Are you kidding me!? Tried it because normal lunch menu was good, this not their thing. Not going back, steal my money once end of story…

   A cozy neighborhood restaurant with authentic Italian cuisine. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Good wine choices too. The risotto is highly recommended.

   There were eight of us plus a baby. Everything was excellent. They didn't rush us to order. They did check on us periodically. Appetizers were excellent. Food was brought all at once and everyone liked their order. Ordered 3 desserts and they brought plates for everyone so we could share.

   We enjoyed celebrating a birthday dinner at LaZingara. The food was wonderful and the service excellent. I asked if we could bring a birthday dessert and they said of course you can. When it was served they made a beautiful presentation with a candle. They went the extra mile! We highly recommend LaZingara!
