Our $89 prix fixe tea service is offered Tuesday through Sunday.

Lady Mendl's is an unconventionally chic tea salon housed within a Georgian brownstone in the Gramercy Park neighborhood of Manhattan. An opulent five-course tea is served in an eclectic and whimsical parlor by a doting staff. Patrons sip tea from hand culled vintage Wedgwood teacups as they nibble dainty finger sandwiches and house baked scones.

Please note that our entrance is only accessible via a staircase of 10 steps. We do not have an elevator.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience! The food was fantastic and fresh, the service was prompt and the staff was friendly and helpful. It was everything we wanted it to be. The pumpkin apple soup course was my favorite and the crepe course was a close second.

Have been coming here for years and have experienced a few transitions but it seems LM finally has settled on the right combination of factors for a delightful and plentiful tea in the same charming venue we all know and love. Servers were kind and tea service on point. I appreciate the new approach without the teapot on the table.

My time at Lady Mendl's would have been excellent were it not for a very uncomfortable racial microaggression and disrespectful encounter with a server near the end of my meal. This experience was unpleasant enough for me to not want to return to the restaurant in the future. I have sent a private note to the restaurant with full details in hopes that this will be addressed. I visited Lady Mendl's the weekend before Thanksgiving to celebrate my marriage, and much to my delight, the restaurant was already decorated for the holidays! The decor and layout of the restaurant gave a very cozy feeling, like I was having afternoon tea in my very own French living room. I appreciated that the tables were set apart from one another so each party's experience felt more intimate. My friend and I opted for the tea tasting to accompany the prix fixe menu. The tea was wonderful - I've never had more fragrant earl grey tea, and the Moroccan mint green tea brought me back to my trip to Morocco. The sandwiches were light enough so that I did not feel too overly indulgent. My pumpkin cheesecake included a celebratory "Congratulations" sign. The service was great, with the exception of one server who soured the entire experience for me, as described in the previous paragraph.
