   The space feels warm, covered in stone, unique paintings, wood and warm colors all around. It’s got a great vibe. We arrived 15 mins early to our reserved time. The host said to come back exactly at our reservation time. This seemed a little stuffy to me. We came back right on the dot and still waited around for our table. The hosts never welcomed us, or even tried to be inviting. A simple, “sorry, we’re really busy tonight,” would have been acceptable. Immediately, when seated we were handed menus and asked our water preference. Then we were ignored for 20 minutes while servers walked past us over and over. Finally a server came to the table and asked if we’d like a drink, I mentioned we never got a drink menu. The server never told us the specials, again, the experience felt very unwelcoming for the service I expected with this decor. Food was average in taste, I didn’t leave thinking I need to come back to taste it again. The portions and prices were fair though, which was nice. Overall, come for the atmosphere but don’t expect anything too much when it comes to the service or food quality at Landini Brothers. They are busy, but I imagine more because of the ambiance and location than because of the quality. Don’t be fooled.

   Honestly some of thee best food in the DMV it has blown my mind and reminds me of my Italian roots

   The food was good. Bottle of white wine came warm - took time to chill, so not ready to drink with food. The ambiance would be lovely except for the stench of cigar smoke from cigar bar next door. Should add air purifiers.

   As usual, the service, food, and drinks, were outstanding. We had our favorite server, Luis. My Apple Martini was one of the best I’ve had and the Short Rib Raviolis were wonderful.

   I can’t tell you how much I normally love this restaurant. I frequent it and even take friends for celebrating birthdays etc. I’m not sure what was going on last night. Noticed a lot of new staff. Waited at the table (it wasn’t busy yet as it was before dinner rush) for 30 min before anyone came to see if we would like drinks and we had to ask if they had specials (they always do). We ordered drinks (2 people for context) and the wine came out relatively quickly. We placed our dinner order. The food came out before my friends drink ever arrived. It was not a great experience. I hope this was just an off night. Disappointed.

   This is an exceptional restaurant. The service is superb, so attentive. The food is delicious with an extensive menu. The ambiance is lovely. Definitely a gem.

   Landini Brothers is a staple of old town Alexandria. It is nestled on the iconic King St among other great walkable restaurants. However, for the past 6 years of restaurant tasting in old town.. the Landini Brothers restaurant stands out due to their consistency in providing quality Italian taste. When making your reservation, you can request to sit outside to people watch or inside for a more romantic vibe. As it was our anniversary, we chose to be inside and were giddy to see heart decorations on our table with a note wishing us a happy anniversary! The servers were extremely attentive —making sure our glass never emptied. The food delicious, of course!, We had three seafood antipastos: grilled squid, calamari, shrimp —YUM and even more when dipping homemade bread into the sauce! For dinner, we split the veal to celebrate the year of iron then surprised to receive a candlelit tiramisu that paired well with our bubbly :) Truly an epic experience and glad we made the decision to come back here to celebrate our special day.
