    Our experience was great. The appetizers was very fulfilling and reasonably priced. We were full before our entrees came out. The entrees was well season and atmosphere was cozy. The wait staff was very friendly and engaging.

    Once again the Gruene Door was an exceptional experience. The food was scrumptious. I had the beef tip pasta, very delicious. The meet was tender and the mushrooms gave it a great flavor. For dessert we had the bread pudding which was wonderful. Loved the smooth jazz that played in the background. Our waitress was attentive and helpful. A wonder birthday celebration.

    Our server, Steven, was terrific. I ordered the Surf and Turf (6 oz filet and Lobster tail) and my wife ordered the mixed grill which comes with a 4 oz filet. When the food arrived, it appeared that the 2 steaks had been mixed up as the one on my wife's plate was obviously much larger. The 4 oz filet was also overcooked. My lobster tail also seemed to be overcooked. The baked potato was really good, and my wife enjoyed her plate.
