In my opinion, this Guadalajara Grill has the best Mexican food in Tucson, which is saying something, but on this visit — my first in awhile—service was an issue. The waiter was great, I don’t blame him, but it was clear that he and the other servers were each covering an excessive number of tables. It took awhile for the waiter to appear at all, then a long wait for drinks and food, and we had to ask for silverware. Again, I don’t blame the waiter at all, it’s a management issue and I saw other servers having to scurry around as well, maybe they were just short- staffed that night. So a little disappointed about that, but the food was truly outstanding, especially the table side salsa, the salmon entree and the queso fundido.

As always, our meals were excellent and our wait staff was very courteous, helpful and friendly. I always enjoy having their Friday special fish and chips, served with cole slaw. Ultimate feast is what my husband ordered. Enough leftovers for another dinner at home!

Went to Mama Louisa's with my husband on our search for a good Italian restaurant in Tucson since we are from NY. We were very pleased. The food was excellent. My husband had the veal parmigiana and I had linguine with white clam sauce. I will admit that my linguine was a bit overcooked but it tasted great. The breadsticks were also very tasty as was the canollli we had for dessert. Our server Redana was excellent. Very friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend this restaurant and plan to return.

We were seated quickly. The wait staff gave recommendations to some specials and gave us time to view the menu. The food was delicious, and we were able to relax and enjoy our time there.

Food quality and amount was very good. Service very good. Selection very good. They now charge for the salsa preparation at the table. While it was a nice touch, it is totally unecessary for a Mexican restaurant where good salsa is a given. We opted for the salsa provided with the chips. Very good.
