Kale salad with pine - refreshing and tasty Calamari - crispy and perfectly cooked Grilled Octopus - amazing flavour but came out on the colder side Braised beef pasta - sauce was really good but pasta texture was hard and came to table at room temperature. Expected this dish to be on the hot side but wasn’t so. While all the dishes we ordered tasted amazing, the temperature of the food was a bit disappointing. I like my food hot especially on a cold night. After pointing this out to our server Tiago, he immediately took it back and brought us a fresh plate that was nice and hot. They proceeded to offer us free dessert which was much appreciated. All in all the food is very good but the service from Tiago was even better. Will definitely be going back!

Our server was Victoria and she was absolutely fantastic- we will ask for her when we go back, which we definitely will, she made us feel so at home and table service was fast and friendly. The front desk was a bit messy - originally they had us just sit and wait for our table, but then when they sent others right in and we went back and asked again, they took us straight to a table. Baja fish tacos were fantastic, but so was everything. Loved the margaritas and the sangria as well.

My wife and I travel to Toronto on a regular basis. The food at Il Ponte is always outstanding and really enjoy the excellent service provided by Maro. It’s our favourite restaurant and I highly recommend it.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. This reservation was my first time here and was very satisfied with the level of service. Food was really good and drinks tasted great also. Space was smaller than expected but I guess that is also partially because off season for patio, would definitely go back and really want to go back during patio season to check out the patio vibes. Overall great experience and will for sure be going back

Superb cocktails and wines at reasonable price all available by the glass. Food is good but ask questions as menu is a bit misleading. (Seared ahi tuna bowl is cold but doesn’t say on menu) The mushroom starter is a meal in itself. Worth checking out.
