The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure our experience was memorable. The ambiance was elegant, setting the stage for a delightful evening. The food was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, showcasing the chef's attention to detail. From the appetizers to the main courses, everything was cooked to perfection and left us wanting more. To top off the night, we indulged in the Jordan Shoe Chocolate cake, which was a showstopper! Not only was it visually impressive, but its rich chocolate flavor made it the perfect sweet ending to our celebration. Overall, our experience at Jeff Ruby's was exceptional, making my birthday dinner truly unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to celebrate in style!More infoJeff Ruby's Steakhouse - LouisvillePrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Downtown Louisville•4.8
- TTracyCentral Kentucky •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOne of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while. The setting was quiet and intimate, and the tables were spread nicely apart. My server Mark was great, not only nice, but also knowledgeable about the menu. It was the first time I’ve ever had my entree served French style, heated table side before plating, ensuring the meal was hot and delicious. When it came to dessert, Mark brought out a tray of dessert and explained each option. It was 10/10 and our meal was less than $150, very fair for a special night out. I left stuffed, happy, and ready to be a repeat customer.More infoVincenzo's Italian RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Italian• Downtown Louisville•4.8
- TTrenaIndiana •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoAn amazing ambiance celebrating the Cuban culture! Started off with bread wrapped in newspaper depicting a print from the 1950’s. Guava butter and cilantro lime butter were offered. Both were delicious! Tried the shrimp ceviche that has a tomato base with thinly sliced red onion, and cilantro. It was very refreshing just as the waitress described. My husband ordered the Ropa Vieja en Lata and didn’t know it means “beef in a can”. It was served table side by a waiter that described the canning process and the titles meaning. He proceeded to open and serve the perfectly cooked beef along with white rice and fried plantains. I had the salmon Varadero served with yellow rice and fried plantains. I could not resist adding a side of black beans. Everything exceeded our expectations! The service was impeccable and we will be back!More infoLa Bodeguita De MimaPrice: Moderate• Cuban• East Market St - NuLu•4.9
- DDaveVIPLas Vegas •12 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe have always done dinner at this amazing restaurant. Today was our first brunch. I would have to say , they continue to amaze us. The blue crab omelette was out of this world amazing. The thick cut bacon was something that could be a dish by itself. The wife got the French dip sub. The beef was perfect, the dip was on point . The horseradish dip was fire 🔥. The hand cut fries were perfectly salted and crisp. Once again blown away by this restaurant ability to provide amazing experience and food.More infoRepeal Oak Fired SteakhousePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown Louisville•4.8
- OTOpenTable DinerCentral Kentucky •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI came in and celebrated Galentine’s with two of my closest friends. The food was phenomenal, and the drinks were great! Now, our server AJ Calvin seemed disoriented and behind when he came and greeted our table. When he first introduced himself, he stated he was the host and would be bringing us water, which left us slightly confused about whether he was specifically our server or just a host. It also took a while to take our drink and appetizer orders. Once asked if he was our server, he swiftly corrected us and said he prefers to be called a host rather than a server. From there, the experience started to decline when he told jokes that honestly weren’t funny or humorous; his jokes bordered on unprofessional. Maybe he was having an off day, but his inability to read the table throughout the entire service left a lasting negative impression.More infoSteak & Bourbon - DowntownPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• West Louisville•4.8
