A superb dining experience as we expected. Just love the ambiance of this place!!

Always a wonderful experience every time we dine here.

The place is beautiful and ambiance is great…if you are looking for that historic dining room that makes you feel like you are dining in a part of history. The presentation of the food is great! We had the jumbo crab cake, onion rings, shrimp poboy, and eggplant Napoleon. Crab meat is either imported or canned jumbo lump…but for what it is it isn’t bad but if you are expecting fresh jumbo lump from a seafood market you will be able to tell the difference. Poboy was very good…onion rings were okay…they were fresh onion hand battered onion rings most of the breading had fell off the onion rings before serving…still not a problem. Dipping sauce was good. Bread and dragonfly biscuits with the praline butter were very good. They bring it out complimentary before your entrees. Hostess was great and very informative. Servers were young gentleman that are still learning the serving business. Not bad but need to learn how to pay attention to detail better. We were there at a slow time 11-12pm 1 of 3 tables on that time. A big top did come in towards the ending. Overall the experience was good I will be back to try other food items. Price wise it is definitely worth it to dine and be able to explore the grounds.

We had wonderful service from our server, Jada. The food was plentiful and very tasty. We love the huge salad bar and variety of meats. This is a great spot for even the pickiest eater.
