- LLourdesHouston •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoMet my cousins here for Thanksgiving. VERDAD was a new experience for all of us and we were duly impressed. For starters, the calamari was to die for, and for the main dish we each had was something unique and delicious. The service was impeccable, the setting and decor were tasteful and trendy, and every dish a work of culinary art. We will definitely return! Honestly, the only thing out of “sync” for me was the background music. It’s tough to choose tunes for “modern Mexican” I suppose, but I might have preferred some lively classical guitar genre or smooth Latin-inspired jazz. In any case, the tunes in the background weren’t jarring or annoying…just a little out of place. Looking forward to another visit soon!More infoVERDAD True Modern MexicanPrice: Expensive• Mexican• Austin•4.8
- MMarkAustin •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoPerfect place for family and friends! The location was easy to find, everyone was so friendly. Definitely didn’t feel like we were in Austin! Felt like we were teleported to another place without traveling somewhere else. I don’t like being rushed when you’re trying to eat, enjoy each dish and experience the ambience and this place was exceptional.More infoYamas AustinPrice: Expensive• Greek• Austin•4.5

- DDianavipAustin •7 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThe service was impeccable and the Dean and Peeler Black Angus tenderloin was delicious, as was the chocolate soufflé. We also enjoyed the ham & Gruyère croquettes, the black truffle deviled eggs, the scallops, and the halibut.
