Restaurants near Ocean Park Hotel

The vibe of the restaurant was awesome! Service was outstanding and the food was great! This is what fine dining should be. It was wonderful!!

I do hate how close the tables are together. We can hear everyone’s conversation so we asked to be moved and they moved us. But also good food and service.

Ours was a belated Valentine Day’s dinner. My sweetheart had a cold and had since received a distressing diagnosis. It was a sensitive and emotional time for us. I won’t wax on about the service and the food. Both continue the long tradition of excellence. What was unfortunate was the noise level. We were seated in the large dining room, adjacent to the smaller salon. There were at least two 8-10 seated tables celebrating something. The result was that there was a ridiculous din in the room that was entirely out of place. It was unbelievable. I understand the importance of filling tables with bodies, but come on. We left early. No coffee or dessert. There are consequences. Sweat the details. Ambiance, the little extras (garlic crisps) and owning the property make a restaurant and keep it in business. As they say, one should always follow the recipe.

We were late and headed for a show — staff was very understanding and fast. Food was delicious! Best jidori chicken in town!
