Exceptional Dining Experience at Beckta From start to finish, our experience at Beckta was nothing short of amazing. The service was impeccable—though we unfortunately forgot the name of our waitress, she was warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable, making us feel truly welcomed and cared for throughout the evening. We opted for the menu dégustation, and every course was a masterpiece. The flavors were expertly balanced, the ingredients fresh and thoughtfully chosen, and each plate was presented beautifully, showcasing the culinary artistry that makes Beckta stand out. A true highlight of the meal was the blue cheese dessert—an absolute wow factor! It was a bold yet perfectly executed creation by the pastry chef, demonstrating incredible skill and thoughtfulness in its composition. Beyond the food, the ambiance was intimate and inviting, striking the perfect balance between elegance and comfort. It’s clear that Beckta is committed to delivering not just a meal, but a memorable dining experience. If you’re looking for a top-tier restaurant in Ottawa, Beckta is a must-visit. Delicious Valentine's experience. Everything was a delight including the music and the special Peruvian version of Tiramisu with a visit by the chef and owner. I'm not a fan of beef but the beef braised cheeks were soft and the sauce was hearty. All other dishes were filled with thoughtful, playful and melt-in-the-mouth flavour. The food was a set menu for this occasion and well worth the price. Wine is very expensive. A minor snag-the view is one of scaffolding and tarps as the building is under repairs but this will change in time. Temporary Signage is missing.

The service was outstanding. We were there for a business meal and we weren’t rushed at all. The server was just the right amount of attentive. The food was perfectly prepared. This is becoming one of my favourite restaurants.

Went for dinner and to hear a jazz concert. The restaurant was full but the staff handled it incredibly well. Food was excellent. A great night out.
