Located in the historic Victoria Hotel building in St. George’s Square in Downtown Guelph, Buon Gusto is warm and casual with exposed stone walls and a contemporary interior design. Our wood-burning oven, made in Reggello, Tuscany is ‘il cuore’ (the heart) of Buon Gusto. We import molino caputo tipo 00 flour and San Marzano tomatoes from Italy, to make our pizzas in the traditional Neapolitan thin-crust style, hearth-baking them at 900 degrees Fahrenheit for just 90 seconds. We had lunch, my friend had the chicken bowl, and I had the grilled chicken chibata with fries. Everything, including the fries was top notch!! We both thoroughly enjoyed our luncheon. There was a VERY loud table beside us, but other than that, would highly recommend the Friendly Society. The service was also very friendly! We will be back for sure.
