Restaurants near Oak Hills Golf Course

The Surfside was our first experience in French cuisine, including French onion soup. Delicious food and fantastic service! The lighting could have been a tad dimmer. Otherwise, it was a perfect Valentine’s Day dinner for two.

Not as solid of service as I have received in the past. The hostess sat me right away, but then I waited a fair amount of time to be greeted by the server. I placed my order, start with a house salad, and then the steak frites, medium rare. And a glass of water, to go with the beer that I brought from the casino. After a while, the server brought my water, and my salad. I had to ask for utensils, because no one brought them with, when they sat me. 4 minutes later, my steak came out. Kind of a bummer to be only four bites into the salad, and sit and watch the steak get cold. But, maybe the server was new, or maybe the kitchen sent the food out too early. I guess I'll never know The food was all very good, the steak was cooked to order. And the flavors were all excellent.
