Restaurants near Palo Verde Park

Food was good but not great. I was a little underwhelmed and expected better and hotter food. I think the best item were the wings. It was nice they had happy hour but our server didn’t ring everything up that way. I had to ask for correction. Restaurant was clean except for the covered patio/main entrance where I watched a bird constantly playing around with twigs from his nest dropping all over a nearby table and floor where people are walking in and out of. They need a blocker. Experience was overall good but I was not amazed.

Excellent waiter, Seth. The menu is a treat and has all sorts of amazing options to choose from. The Asian Chicken salad had great flavor, but the chicken was a little dry. The chicken Madeira was excellent. Tortilla soup was good and the wedge salad was great!

DC steakhouse always delivers. Steak, side salad and fries, shrimp cocktail, 2 glasses of Caymus and one of Sonoma Cutrer for $200 (plus tip) all with excellent service. Considering you can easily spend $100 at the Olive Garden, its well worth the extra to go to a great local establishment for those special (or even not so special occasions). Great wine list, great cocktails. They did have a limited menu for the day after Valentine’s day, but it was extensive enough I didn’t feel like I was missing out.

No Valentine's Day would be complete without our traditional dinner at The Hidden House. This holiday can be a challenge for restaurants, but we were very pleased with the quality of service and how quickly everything was served.

Second time at Elliott’s and quality remained exceptional! Environment is moody and comfortable, service is attentive and friendly. Food is amazing, quality is apparent, such delicious and innovative flavors! Recommend everyone go here.
