I hosted a small dinner party to celebrate my dad's birthday, and we had an absolutely wonderful evening! The food was fantastic, with a great variety of dishes to choose from. Every item we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The bar options and wine list were equally impressive, offering something for everyone to enjoy. The service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and professional—which made the experience even more special. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and we can’t wait to come back again soon! Canter's is frozen in time! Reminded me of the delis of my youth. Good food, fair prices, good portions and friendly service.

Outstanding experience overall. Unbelievably kind and pleasant staff, especially considering this is Los Angeles. Wine was stellar and every food dish better than the one before. Already planning to go back. Next time bringing my dog…yeah, dog-friendly too…Perfection.

We were glad to be able to get a table on short notice via Open Table on a busy Sunday. Service was great. Food was decent. The portions are light and it was just what we needed as we also had a big dinner planned later.

Amazing food outstanding service. Some people in the restaurant were a little loud, but nothing too disturbing that’s life in a restaurant. But very enjoyable first experience would definitely go back.
