- EelliottLondon •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoone of my favourite restaurants in london. scrap that, one of my favourite anywhere. if you’re a meat lover it’s the very best of the Argentinian steakhouse experience. when that hot plate comes out with generous, perfectly cooked ‘hunks’ of meat and provolone melting by its side, you can’t help regret any stomach space you’ve wasted in the previous 24 hours. Venue itself has an unpretentious, authentic feel to it, and the staff are always cool, easy going & friendly. just an all round great experience, and very reasonably priced. the only negative - it takes over an hour for me to get there from north west london!More infoBuen AyrePrice: Very Expensive• Argentinean• Hackney•4.8
- MManonDublin •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 16, 2024We had a family diner at Chakana and everyone loved the experience. The food is amazingly fresh, colorful and tasty and the service was on point - very discrete while very available and friendly. We recommend and will be back!More infoChakana LondonPrice: Expensive• Peruvian• Hackney•4.8
- AAnthonyBristol •2 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 15, 2024Beautiful food, beautiful people beautiful restaurant. A true culinary experience that is so intentional in its delivery. Each dish is explained by either the waiter or chef themselves, where staff take the time to get to know the diners whilst eating. It felt like we were at a big dinner party in their house and we were their guests for the night. With dinner starting at 7:00pm each course was plated and served to us at exactly the same time allowing us all to experience at the same time. Even choice of cutlery is specific and intentional allowing us the ability to capture taste and texture as the chef intends. This restaurant reminded me of an art expression, with food used rather than paint, where the chef uses food in clever well thought out ways to flex his creative ideas. For this reason the food is slightly on the expensive side, but due to the size of the restaurant and its chill intimate and private feel it makes sense. We dined for just over three hours, never felt rushed like in many other restaurants these days where you just feel like a number, and left happy & content. I would highly recommend. Thanks Gabriel and the Team.More infoThe Water House ProjectPrice: Very Expensive• British• Bethnal Green•4.9
