Restaurants near Cathedral Square

We visited Hy’s in Vancouver as we had eaten at the Whistler location and enjoyed it. The service was excellent in Vancouver as well. The Caesar salad was a little smaller than I remembered it from before which was unfortunate as my wife and I split it. I also wish that they had all the cuts of beef with a bone in or out option. Our server, Benjamin, was excellent and attentive.

The food was good. Appreciated the bread basket while waiting for our mains. Our server was friendly and was training someone, which was no problem. Not a cheap dinner but tasty. All of the food prepared well. A super busy night but was able to get to concert on time as the server kept us on track to leave on time. I recommend as long as you can afford it.

This was the first time we experienced the Happy Hour and it did not disappoint. The service was fantastic! From letting us get seated earlier than our 3 o’clock reservation to our beautiful server Sarah and of course the view! We will definitely be back!

Best food that I have had in Vancouver during this visit. I had the beef tenderloin and it was fantastic. Service was great. Ambience: noise level a little high. Background music should be lowered.
