Second time back and I’ll keep returning. Excellent service. Outstanding food. A Sydney gem!

I am obsessed with Balcon's savoy cabbage entree. Needless to say, I tried to replicate this at home all the time but have been unable to do so with the dressing! Kudos to the chef; the dressing is magic! Having said that, the BEST thing about our meal this evening is our service staff - the very lovely Silvia. She is easily the reason we have a 5 star experience! She's knowledgeable, helpful and the definition of great hospitality making us feel at ease and so well taken care of throughout the entire evening. It's hard to not want to spend more time in Balcon with the good food, good vibes and exceptional service provided by Silvia.

I just love this restaurant. It has just the right lighting, just the right hum of conversation and background music, a very 70's moody vibe and the most exemplary faultless service from the gorgeous floor team. Obviously something great in the kitchen as well, as the food is sublime. Perfection.

Yummy food, served by attentive staff. Interior quite basic and a bit cold. Good for a quick weekend lunch.

We ate at Masuya restaurant, not their izakaya. Food was wonderful and the staff was quite attentive and helpful. They have an extensive menu - not just sushi or tempura. A great choice for dinner!
