- DDanielWashington, D.C. Area •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a great experience from start to finish! The wines by the glass (sparkling white and red Bordeaux) were delicious. The French onion soup had a flavorful broth and more cheese than I’ve ever seen (no complaints). The lobster bisque ranks right up there when compared to another top rated French restaurant in the DMV. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly and the accompanying Bordelaise sauce accented it perfectly. We didn’t have room for dessert but ordered it anyway, profiteroles and chocolate mousse. Yum!! The service was attentive, with no mistakes and the ambience on the upper level enhanced the dining experience. The noise level was okay, and I’m glad it wasn’t any louder. The price points were reasonable, given the quality, and there are less expensive menu options. This was our first visit to this restaurant but we will be back!More infoLa Grande Boucherie - DCPrice: Very Expensive• French• Washington•4.3
- SSadafBaltimore / Maryland •15 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoEvery dish (BABA GHANNOUGE, HALLOUMI PIDE, TURKISH STYLE PASTIRMA, SMOKED BEET SALATA, SEA SCALLOPS, GARIDES ME ANITHO, KOFTE KEBAB, HUNKAR BEGENDI) that we tried was devine! The spanakopita we ordered had way too much salt and when I provided the feedback to our server, he was not only kind enough to share the information with the chef, he did not charge us. In addition they gave us 4 complimentary desserts. We probably would not have tried dessert this time due to how full we were. And that would have been a missed opportunity!!! The desserts, especially the Greek yogurt with apricots (I don’t even like Greek yogurt), by far, was one of the best desserts I have ever had!More infoZaytinya - DCPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Penn Quarter•4.7
- AAishaNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoSome members of my party were late and the restaurant waits to seat you until everyone is in attendance. They were very kind to hold our table well past the reservation time. The two waiters were thorough in their menu explanations. They were attentive, timely, and friendly. It was one of the best dining experiences I have had in DC in a veryyyy long time. The customer service was top-notch. Food was great too. We ordered an assortment of appetizers and entrees. Everything everyone had was delicious.More infoSuccotash PRIMEPrice: Moderate• American• Penn Quarter•4.6
- LLizNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoEverything was delicious. We ate far too much because it was all so good! We started with the Jumbo Lump Crab Dijonnaise, Oysters Rockefeller. Our entrees were the Crab Cake (1 was enough after the appetizers), and Leidy’s Duroc Pork Chop. We ended with the Bread Pudding. All of which was outstanding. Over the course of our meal, my partner ordered a Bloody Mary and an Old Fashioned from the bar. He said the Bloody Mary was good but had too much Old Bay which settled at the bottom of the glass (the giant shrimp was a nice addition though). He raved about the Old Fashioned and said it was one of the best that he’s had. Our server Gabby gave us great recommendations and she was super friendly. I highly suggest making reservations in advance.More infoOld Ebbitt GrillPrice: Moderate• American• Downtown•4.8
