Il Toscano means “The Tuscan”, and is a perfect representation of everything I am, and all that I love about my home land in Italy.My name’s Matteo – head pasta maker, chef and owner of il Toscano. I was born and raised in the countryside of Tuscany, and although I’ve now lived in Australia for over 9 years, my passion for all things Italian has never been stronger.Nor has my passion for sharing it with Australia and the Central Coast. We had a lovely family dinner and were impressed by the service. The waitress was really accommodating of our messy toddler, offering thoughtful suggestions for kid-friendly options. The whole family enjoyed the meal, but it was especially wonderful for our coeliac daughter, who loved the great gluten-free options available. Thank you!

What a fantastic restaurant! The food was outstanding as was the service. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. When one of the sides was delayed it was offerred to us as complimentary. Sitting at the bar was so much fun. We could watch all the activities in the kitchen area and had instant access to staff if we needed to request anything. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone after great food and service.
