Lovely dinner and nice atmosphere. The Salmon Fresca was excellent. The music could have been a little lower volume, but it wasn't horribly loud; LOVE the classic tunes. We were taken care of very well by Mike; he was an excellent server: knowledgeable, so pleasant and attentive but not intrusive. He also acted as if he loved his job; what a change from many servers at many restaurants these days. I will book there again, certainly. Only minor dissatisfaction was that the coffee refills are never hot, and I have experienced this there before.

Chop House always serves delicious and servers are knowledgeable, friendly and professional.

We started with the crispy Brussels sprouts and they were delicious. Then we chose the pick two shrimp - I had the shrimp scampi and popcorn shrimp - my husband had the shrimp scampi and the coconut shrimp. The shrimp was very good - cooked just right. Our accompaniments were a baked potato and broccoli - we shared these two sides. The baked potato was soft and moist - the broccoli, on the other hand was very mushy and had an unordinary taste toast to it so we didn’t eat it. The biscuits, as usual, were hot and delicious! We sat in the bar area so the bartender was our server. He was very attentive even though he was serving everyone at the bar as well as anyone else (like us!) who was sitting in that area. Overall it was a good experience!

Service was great! Got the Double Nickel salad with chicken. It was excellent. One of us got Brussels sprouts and they looked amazing. She wouldn't share so I assume they must have been as good as they looked. Happy hour specials are great! Ambience is what it is. Nothing fancy but perfect for catching up with a group.

I enjoyed the happy hour pricing on steamed pork pot stickers and a glass of Chardonnay.
