Restaurants near American Printing House for the Blind

We came in with a large group of eight and we’re seated in the bar area. We don’t particularly like sitting in the bar as it was very crowded and loud when we first arrived even at 8 PM on a Wednesday night. We had plenty of room to spread out and weren’t necessarily at Bar tables. The service was absolutely fantastic, as it usually is and all of the food we had was amazing. No disappointment with a large group sitting in the bar area. Look forward to my next visit!

We were seated pretty promptly for our reservation and were taken upstairs to a corner table, which was nice. We ordered camarones al ajillo (shrimp) appetizer along with two different types of mojitos. Service was just a bit slow, but they were very busy. My husband’s drink seemed to be ‘sweatin’ a lot and he moved the glass to the other side, same issue. As he picked up the glass, the bottom just fell out of it and the drink and ice went everywhere! The staff acted quickly to get it cleaned up and bring him another drink. For entrees, I had the Cuban chicken with rice, sofrito, peas, red peppers and my husband had the pork with a molded black bean and rice and yucca. Everything was delicious and quite large portions. We would definitely return! One added comment, as I used the ladies room, it was spotless…the cleanest public restroom I have ever seen! Well done all around!

The Chilean Seabass was delicious and our waiter provided excellent service. My friends and I had a great time.

The cutest breakfast spot! Staff was so friendly and attentive. Drinks were great, food was delicious and served on really cute plates. Food and drinks were served quickly. This was right off the highway and easy to get to as well. Thank you!

Overall we enjoyed dinner, the staff was very accommodating and friendly. The kitchen was probably the weakest link of our experience. Desserts came out before main courses for part of the party and had to be sent back to keep them from melting all over. The table did get quite cluttered of dishes several timesband we could not fit anything else they brought to the table and get nothing was hauled away.The grilled cod was overall good,.the shrimp cocktail was good but the ceviche in the cocktail was the best we had ever had. The apple cinnamon tamales were absolutely fantastic for all who had them. It was a holiday and we had 7 In our group. I will definitely come back to try it again on a regular night to check out the normal menu. Hopefully a better experience and I will adjust my review accordingly.
