Restaurants near Americinn Hotel and Suites- Rice Lake

We’ve never had a bad experience at High Shores under the most recent ownership. The food and cocktails are exceptional and the service is great. It’s our favorite place in the Chippewa Valley.

Food and portions were amazing! So glad we got the soup and salad as our appetizer, the French Onion and Lobster Bisque were so savory. Our mains were the Ribeye and Filet cooked perfectly medium rare. We got 3 sides al la carte, and we could have just got one. The portions say for two but they could definitely feed 3-4 if you have the soups or appetizers before. My only criticism was there weren't any prices marked by the cocktails and the brussel sprouts could have been cooked a little longer to get a better crisp.

Our waitress was very nice and friendly. Boston cranberry tea and coffee excellent. The coconut shrimp and shrimp scampi were good. Some items were not as good; the mashed potato side was bland and could have included a pat of butter or something to add flavor.
