Delfina gets high marks for our dinner last night. Some of the newer restaurants with younger restaurant owners in SF seem to forget the importance of hospitality in the restaurant experience (I’m talking to you True Laurel) …the feeling of being welcomed and accommodated. Not so Delfina. We felt as if we were wrapped in a warm blanket of helpfulness, information and appreciation by our servers. The food was delicious and the cocktails were exquisitely prepared. It’s been a minute since I dined at Delfina, but I will definitely be back soon. So good!!!

If you're up for some good meat, Lolinda is your next great dining experience. I've had some great pork chops in my time, but Lolinda's is the best! My cut was juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of char on the tips. Amazing! It's a dark restaurant. My dining partner and I had to break out the torches on our cell phones to read the menu. The noise level is moderate, but there is no need to raise your voice at your table. The service was impeccable. We will be returning soon to try more of their meats. Highly recommended!

We were excited for the mix of sushi and cooked options on the izakaya-style menu. The Echigo 49er roll and the Mummy roll were among a set of rolls unique to Echigo and were exceptional. As were the negiri from their "fresh today" menu. The mango avocado roll was unexpectedly extra-delicious. The potato croquette over rice with a curry gravy was a great accompaniment to the sushi. Good sake selections and some unusual beer options added to the charm of the fare. Great ambience, we look forward to exploring more of their menu!
