Restaurants near Astra Apartments Canberra - Griffin

It was a really busy night, a Tuesday night, and I don’t think they were expecting soooo many people, so they were a bit short-staffed (it happens), but we had a great night. Fantastic atmosphere, piano bar music playing live, good cocktails and wine choices and we really liked the food. A great time was had by all.

Great restaurant with a good vibe. Service was fantastic, Shelley our host was friendly and engaging. Food is very good but not outstanding

The service was efficient, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for the staff who waited on our table. The food was delicious and enjoyed by everyone in our group. There were a couple of people in our group with loss of hearing and they found the loudness was amplified through their hearing aids. When they removed their hearing aids to counteract the noise levels, their ability to hear conversation was diminished.

Amazing food and attentive and friendly service. One of the best in Canberra.

This restaurant is quite under-rated for its quality. The food is always impeccable, and unique. The host is always friendly and attentive. The ambience is that of a fine dining restaurant but the cost is very fair. We hope it continues to do well - it also serves a nice Yum Cha/Dim Sum menu. Best bbq pork buns I’ve had at any Australian restaurant.
