SuperKim Crab House was born from a dream to share bold, unforgettable flavors. Founded by Kim, or “SuperKim,” the restaurant’s story began in Thailand, where he grew up learning to cook from his mom and grandmother in the bustling street food markets. Their lessons in fresh ingredients and bold spices became the foundation of his unique style. In 2016, Kim started with a humble food cart in Portland, blending his Thai heritage with rich Cajun flavors. His creations quickly gained a following, and by 2024, he opened SuperKim Crab House in Seattle’s Pioneer Square. Today, SuperKim Crab House is more than a restaurant—it’s a celebration of Kim’s journey, offering dishes like award-winning Clam Chowder and signature seafood boils. Each dish tells a story, blending cultures and connecting people through food.

My family and I went to enjoy a meal together and to visit. We drove an hour to get there. It was so worth it!! The food was excellent and they had gluten free options with gluten free soy sauce! The service was probably the best we’ve experienced in the area! The staff were professional and kind. We never had an empty glass, which means a lot to me. We stayed longer than we should have visiting with our sons and we felt welcomed!! (Some restaurants in the area give you an hour, hour n half depending on your party size and ask you to leave). The staff even continued to fill our water glasses! Afterwards we walked around the street with all the decorative lights and statues. It was a great experience! Definitely will go to Matsu’s again for a great meal with our family.

Food was great, the real crab jalapeño rangoon was amazing. Fish for the fish and chips order was nice and crispy, and not greasy. One of my favorites Fish and Chips.
