Restaurants near Barrack Street Jetty

Visited this new restaurant after reading the reviews and we are really glad we did as it didn’t disappoint. From the moment we walked in the staff were very attentive and the restaurant has a lovely feel to it. My daughter had the chicken starter, which was presented lovely & tasted as good. We all tried the different steaks, as well as the hot irons and they were extremely tasty. Wagyu was very tender, amazing. Service by the staff was extremely professional and friendly and I know we will return.

This was my second time dining with my family at Ascua, and we had a fantastic experience. We all enjoyed the Chargrilled Fremantle octopus and the Dry-aged kingfish crudo as appetizers. My son and I shared the delightful tomahawk steak. The atmosphere was classy, and we could see the chefs working in the kitchen from our booth. Our waiter was attentive and very polite. At the end of the meal, we even received complementary aromatic salt to take home. We are looking forward to our next visit to Ascua!

Food was impeccable as always. Our server was a peach (tall, slim guy with long hair and beaut makeup) so attentive, right level of checking, and so helpful with the menu. 10/10 for service, will return for that alone. The insanely delicious food is a bonus 😋

Thankyou so much for our first experience with Japanese cuisine. Eric was wonderful with his suggestions and staff were fantastic. I was celebrating my birthday and enjoyed ourselves immensely . Thanks again Eric
