Judith is a new American tavern pairing warm hospitality and the cooking of James Beard Nominated Chef Julia Sullivan (Henrietta Red in Nashville) located in the quiet area of Sewanee, TN near the University of the South. The name is an homage to Judith Ward Lineback, the first woman to matriculate into the University in 1969.As Sullivan’s first solo project, Judith will feature a seasonal menu of creative and approachable dishes including a selection of small, shareable plates perfect for the bar crowd. Abby was excellent as a waitress. She was prompt in serving us but did not rush us as we wanted a leisurely lunch. Food was prepared perfect and was delivered hot. The Asst GM Travis came to table and we had a nice conversation. Will definitely be back.

Both of our waitresses were very friendly. We got our food in a timely manner. The only thing that would be negative is hearing the waitstaff complain out loud about low tips. Maybe talk somewhere else away from customers.
