The atmosphere is lovely. The table settings are very elegant and welcoming. The menu is varied and gourmet level. Our food was delicious and our waiter was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. We will definitely be returning many, many times!

If you want to impress someone visiting the area for the first time, or someone who has never been to Houmas House, reserve a table at the Carriage House for lunch. The food is amazing, and the walk to the restaurant allows your visitor to see a lot of the grounds. Stop on the way at the Turtle Bar for a cocktail!

Had a great lunch today with my friends. Everything was excellent. Our server was Shelby and did an awesome job. The food was spot on as usual. Can't say enough good things about Ruth's Chris Steak House.

Five star all the way around! Cocktails were great, fried green tomatoes were excellent, red fish was outstanding!!
