Restaurants near Ben Loyal

Stayed at the Dornoch Castle hotel one night (husband playing golf in the AM). Lovely restaurant/bar attached to hotel. The pizza was delicious and just what we needed after a long travel day. Service was great too! Had a pint and a dram of their whiskey before heading to bed early. Wish we had more time to spend here!

We booked in here after a recommendation from a cafe owner near Smoo cave , the food was amazing, I had two tapas style dishes , my husband had a chicken and sweet potato curry, and we shared a trio of desserts. They were not running the menu on the website , ( I was a bit gutted as was looking forward to the Lobster) but a tapas style with specials for that two weeks , it was all delicious.

Limited menu due to new equipment being installed. Both of us had Haddock and Chips which was very good. Our deserts were lovely as well. My wife had a brownie and ice cream and I had tablet sundae which was also very good willbe back to try the full menu when they have done thier upgrades. Overall well worth a visit. Leo is a great host.
