Unique and well prepared food, reasonably priced for what you get. The basil cake for dessert was a big surprise I can’t get elsewhere.

What a lovely setting for Thanksgiving dinner for our group in Midlothian, VA! The holiday decorations both outside and inside set the scene from the moment we arrived! Our server, Isabella, was fantastic and made some great wine recommendations! Turkey, lamb chops and filet were fabulous and the lobster mac & cheese was unbelievable! (Sorry Mom!) Desserts and espresso were the perfect ending to a lovely meal! Thanks Ruth Chris! You’re like family now! We’ll be back next year! Hope Isabella will be there, too! She made our experience so special!

This was an absolutely amazing experience! We went for a special dinner with some out of town friends the night before Thanksgiving. We were a party of 6 and got sat near the kitchen. We were a bit hesitant at first, being so close to the kitchen and commotion. It ended up being a perfect spot! Our server was very welcoming and quickly got us our drinks and took our orders. The food was brought out at a great pace and the portions were large. We did spend a good amount of money, since it was 6 adults all having multiple alcoholic drinks and three courses. The price was absolutely worth the service and product.

Top notch service, incredible food and crafted cocktails as well as a wonderful wine selection at 1870. Our table of 4 were all quite happy with every single thing we ordered. Will definitely be back!

Celebrated my birthday with loved ones and everything was amazing. The food was delicious. The restaurant is stunning, simply beautiful. The host and wait staff were so attentive. We will be back!
