Set on the tranquil Bayou Bonfouca near Old Town Slidell, our waterfront restaurant/event venue is known for its southern charm. Palmettos famous Brunch features live Jazz Saturday and Sunday. We had a delightful waiter (Steven). Very attentive and friendly. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and suggested a wonderful vegetarian option which was amazing. (Did notice that our food took longer to arrive to our table. Tables next to us arrived after we were seated and after we ordered, received their food first). Still five stars ⭐️

We’re new to the area and were recommended to try Palmettos. It did not disappoint! The food was delicious and the atmosphere inside felt warm and outside looked magical with all the lights and natural trees. Natalie, our server, was a gem! We already plan on coming back to check out their other menus.
