- CCathrynGreater Boston •3 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoIt is clear that New Vida has some kinks to work out in the staffing area, the staff is friendly, but runs from almost non- existent to clearly understaffed and stressed during busy dinner/ cocktail time. The atmosphere is a home run and menu selections are good. My husband and I both had to send our dinners back, initially. They gave him the wrong meal and my fries were stone cold and toppings on my burger were wrong. However, it was only a few minutes until they corrected the mistake and dinner was enjoyable and delicious. I could see that, in general, people were having trouble getting drinks and served in a timely manner. I would give it another try. For us, the good outweighed the bad, but they need to figure out staffing, in general.More infoNew Vida Preserve RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Global, International• Lake Placid•4.1
- KKarenVermont •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had a lovely dinner! The Zuppa di Pesce special was outstanding and the clams casino, lobster cake and house salad were also terrific! The chef even stopped by tables to see how everything was. The server was attentive and very nice and the ambience was warm and cozy on a cold snowy evening! Thank you!More infoThe North Hero House Inn & RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Lake Champlain Islands•4.6
- TtoniGreater Boston •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoStarry Night is a hidden gem about 1/2 hr drive south of Burlington. Since we discovered it a couple years ago, it’s been a favorite for intimate date nights, dining with a couple friends and even larger parties. The service is always friendly & helpful, and the food & drinks are absolutely the best. We love the flatbread served before the meal - flavorful and the perfect start. Our favorite appetizer is the coal-roasted veggies, which is a large, shareable portion of savory delight. We haven’t tried all the entrees, but the ones we have are always cooked & seasoned to perfection and beautifully plated. Drink offerings are inventive and yummy. We have never had a disappointing experience. Pricing is appropriate for an upscale restaurant, so in the “special occasion” end of the spectrum.More infoStarry Night CafePrice: Expensive• American• Ferrisburgh•4.8

- JJanilVIPNew York City •13 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 2, 2025Overall a very good experience. Service was great and they accommodated special requests for our picky 10-year old. Appetizers or small plates were quite generous. Hostess and server were very pleasant, friendly and attentive. Located right next to hotel lobby but it didn’t seem to detract. It added to the open-air atmosphere.More infoHaystack Bar & BistroPrice: Expensive• American• Lake Placid•3.8
