The food was amazing - because of the creative approach to cooking, the menu was full of delicious culinary choices. Our meal was flavorful and delicious. However, the service was lacking. After are order was taken we never saw our waiter until the bill was presented. We had several requests - more water, another cocktail and our bill - and each of these requests we had to stop another waitstaff member to get these for us. We will try again, and hopefully the service will improve.

What to say about Rosa Mexicano? It’s the tallest building in Manhattan, and I don’t mean physically. The spirit of this restaurant soars, standing higher than the ceilings. Three margaritas on a Friday night, that’s all a woman can dream of. The finer points of service were expertly done, the empanadas were divine. Thank you, Rosa, can I call you Rosa? Thank you.

Beautiful setting, not too loud. My fish was a bit overcooked for me but the salads and sides were excellent. My friend enjoyed the lamb.
