We opened our first restaurant in Castlefield, Manchester in 2004 with a clear aim: To deliver quality food to local customers at a reasonable price in a sharp, modern space with friendly, unpretentious service. We have pursued that goal ever since and it has earned us many loyal customers. Our menu is probably classed as British with some additional favourites from Italy and around the globe. This restaurant is full of character and is used at lunch times primarily, but in the evenings, it offers a cosy ambiance lit by candle light ideal for a more casual approach to dining.The Inn also offers an afternoon tea which is simply divine. Served between 2pm-5pm by prior bookings only.The Bar and Snug is a relaxed and super cosy space sticking with the old charm of the Inn which this part of the building offers. It has an impressive wood burning stove and is dog friendly.

Lovely evening ,excellent table service. Disappointed no appropriate sauces for the meals and would have been better to have the curry served with poppadoms/naan bread. All food was tasty and gd portions.

A lovely evening of food and drink at the Cavendish Arms. The food is always good, when I’m not driving the cocktails are well worth it Service is excellent, friendly and welcoming. Being relatively local and my kids having gone to school in Cartmel this is definitely our favourite place to eat and drink.

We love dining at Number 11. The food is delicious and the way the menu works with selecting a main, a big side, a small side and a dip is very effective. There is a good range of dishes to suit meat-eaters, pescatarians, vegetarians and vegans so all tastes are catered for, with food being cooked to order. Service is prompt, friendly and professional and the restaurant is fairly quiet giving you the opportunity to sit and chat with the rest of your party. You can split the bill anyway you prefer - nothing is too much trouble! Highly recommended!
