- RRachelBristol •30 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoAnother good evening in Cheddar. The starters of mushrooms with an egg were very good and the steak and mushroom pies excellent, pastry to die for and well cooked meat ! Have been waiting to try for ages but always sold out so we pre ordered this time to be sure of getting them. Almost too full for a dessert so shared the tiramisu again good. Service was fine and drinks nice and cold. Staff are always very friendly. A very pleasant evening.More infoThe Bath ArmsPrice: Moderate• Modern European• Cheddar•4.7
- JJasonOxford/Oxfordshire •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOnly negative we have is we were kept waiting at reception for a while with no eye contact from any of the bar staff. Then once seated it took a while before being seen to. But from that point onwards everything was fantastic. The food was simply amazing and presentation was also really goodMore infoCappadocia Restaurant, BristolPrice: Moderate• Turkish• Bristol•4.6
- RRichardShropshire •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe really enjoyed our visit to the Sheep & Penguin on Valentines Day. We received a warm welcome and free cocktail, which we weren't expecting. The menu choices were extensive and there was nothing we didn't like. After a starter we selected a lamb dish & pork dish for our main courses and these were both delicious! This was followed by a desert and coffee. I chose a large glass of Syrah, which I really enjoyed. My wife was a little disappointed by the Sauvignon Blanc she chose and later switched to a Chardonnay, which she felt was also a little underwhelming. The dining room was initially a bit cold, but the adjacent radiator came on during our meal, which was relief. However, overall, we rated our experience very highly, and will definitely be visiting again.More infoThe Sheep & PenguinPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Wells•4.7
- SsandraLondon •3 reviews4.0Dined 7 days agoVery busy for a Monday night! Which is good, service was a bit hit and miss, couple on the next table came in after us and ordered their meal and had their starter before our order had even been taken, they also didn’t have the red wine I ordered and this seemed to take a long time to sort out and re-order. Food is ok nothing special. It’s a great place for atmosphere especially on a Monday.More infoIvy Clifton BrasseriePrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• Clifton•4.5
