- DDavidBerkshire •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoSuperb lunch at the Star for my wife’s birthday. Very tender steaks cooked to our liking. The best you’ll find anywhere. Personal service and lovely and quiet. We will definitely return.More infoThe Star at CottonPrice: Moderate• Afternoon Tea• Cotton•4.4
- MMarwaManchester/Greater Manchester •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoGreat service, with very attentive and helpful staff. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed. The food was delicious. We especially enjoyed the bone marrow with onions appetizer. The dish we wanted to try was sold out (the chateaubriand), so we opted for a rib eye and rump instead. We ordered three sides, all of which were delicious. The steaks were delicious , although the rib eye was tad over our preferred done-ness, and a the rump was a little tougher than we expected. The staff listened to our feedback and gave us a discount. We appreciate how seriously they took our feedback despite us assuring them the food was still good. This shows how important the customer experience is to them. Thank you.More infoHawksmoor ManchesterPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Manchester•4.7

We took advantage of their great value steak night deal and all the food was to the usual high standard. Service was friendly and attentive.More infoDuck GoosePrice: Expensive• Bistro• Leek•4.8
