The Club Tavern and Grill was originally The Grantree Restaurant when three men from Conrad, Montana purchased it in 1985. The Felska’s and the Solvie’s came to Bozeman motivated by the prospect of building or buying a Conference Center.They discovered that the Ramada Inn, (hotel, restaurant, and conference center) was in bankruptcy so they purchased the business. Ive eaten here serveral times. Each time the food and service are outstanding. The chicken succotash menu entry is one of my favorites. Generous portions always insure that I have a healthy take-away. The tables are spaced far enough apart so that real conversation is possible even when the restaurant is full.

This is a wonderful restaurant in Bozeman. Close to fine dining as you will find. I'd give it a 9.5 out of 10. The night before we dined at the new BISTRO restaurant in town. A real "find" and I'd rate it a 10. Both are worth visiting, but BISTRO was one notch better.

Friendly staff, delicious food, reasonably priced. Probably the best dining you'll find in and around Helena. I would definitely recommend the Highlander if your looking for a good meal!
