Restaurants near Brooksvale Recreation Park

Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted with a friendly smile. The restaurant was already busy @ 5pm with customers laughing and enjoying their food. Service was immediate and drink and food choices were yummy. I will definitely be returning to try another outstanding special! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Our first time dining at Six One Nine and it was great. The food was delicious, with flavors and uniqueness. The ambiance is a touch of class even though the facility is on the smaller side I see this restaurant moving into either another space or starting a second restaurant. Very impressive establishment and you can tell by talking to the people that work there who were filled with knowledge from the drinks to the food. 11 out of 10 star for me! We will be back again for sure. One note, we like to dine early and I try to always make reservations. Using Open Table you can reserve the dining area or bars seats if they are available which is great of you just want to visit for drinks and apps

The beet salad is always a great way to start. My friend had the halibut and said it was delicious and portion was enormous. I went with rack of lamb , again portion was enormous. Their dining room is bright and inviting and service was excellent.

This was the best meal I’ve had in a long time! The wait staff was attentive without being intrusive, the building is unique and beautiful. It is a bit noisy, but I like that, I think it gives a restaurant life. The maple chicken was amazing. My husband had shrimp and grits and he agreed it was the best meal he’d had in a while. The portions were good sized and we felt the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend the Library and I know if I ever find myself in Wallingford, ct again, this is definitely where I’ll eat!
